New from Japanese retail shop Chapter comes a doubly-creative collaboration with Vanquish and adidas Originals. Vanquish chose adidas’ relatively recently-conceived Hardland model, a chunky 80s-inflected high-top with an elongated tongue and details abounding, as their canvas and got to work. Starting with a quilted blacked-out starting point, the design team chose to embellish sparingly with small silver studs and specks of metallic highlights on the tongue. Expectedly limited-edition, the Hardlands are available for pre-order now for ¥15,750 JPY (approximately $205 USD).
